A Body In The Basement

This series explores cases where the victim's body has been discovered in a basement. The visuals invoke classic horror tropes: voyeur shots and wide angles with lots of negative space, tracking shots behind characters leading the viewer deeper into the cavernous cellar, and unexpected jump scares to build tension. The lighting is moody and dramatic - large shafts of light pushing through basement windows or just the beam of a flashlight taking the audience through a dimly lit space.
